Neewollah, October 30

Saturday traveled to Independence KS to watch flute boy. While there I took two hours to ride Montgomery County. Started at Elk City Lake and headed out on Peter Pan road. According to the county pages from KDOT the roads were supposed to be paved but the first 20 minutes were on gravel. After that just quiet rural roads for 37 miles. There were three pretty good size hills but mostly flat. There is nothing in Elk City so plan accordingly. One gripe about Kansas, would it kill you to have paved through the trees rather than around them?

  1. Sounds like a fun ride, or at least any ride on a new road is fun!
